Specialists in Construction Awards 2006

Marlborough is highly commended for "Stone and Brickwork Specialist of the Year" at the Specialists in Construction Awards 2006.

The awards are held annually and are organised by Construction News to recognise the roles played by specialist contractors of all sizes and types.

The awards are supported by both the National Specialist Contractors Council and the Specialist Engineering Contractors Group. The awards caremony was held on the 11th May at the London Hilton Park Lane.

Judges of the event this year made this comment about Marlborough: "Managed growth, customer service and employee development underpin the success of this Leeds-based contractor. Site safety standards are above the industry average, and customer satisfaction is consistently high"

Marlborough previously won the 2005 Stone and Brickwork Specialist of the Year

Marlborough's submission this year included a 1000 word report, plus supporting documentation of why our company is the best in its sector!

We listed all our Organisation Objectives for the preceding 12 months and the facts of how we achieved them including details of our successful controlled expansion, client partnerships, training & development, safety record, research & development activities & continual improvement of our management systems.

In support of our submission we also provided client references and highlighted Lumiere Building, Manchester as our exemplary project.
